Geneviève Favre Petroff (*1978, Lausanne) is a Swiss transdisciplinary artist graduated from the HEAD - Geneva University of Art and Design (Bachelor) and from ENSCI-Les Ateliers de Paris (Mastère Spécialisé). She lives and works in Paris. Her practice combines words with body, color with voice, sounds with moving lights. She invites the public to follow her in visual, poetic and technological proposals, where they do not expect them. She expresses herself on the world around her by creating dreamlike works with extravagant and offbeat characters, mixing pop culture, literature and science fiction. Imbued with humor and irony, his works challenge the viewer. Its interactive installations come to life upon contact with the visitor, while its visually rich costumes come to life once worn. She performs internationally at contemporary art exhibitions, festivals of performing arts, electronic arts and fashion.
